Dream Catcher

Twilight is not ours but dawn
Wait for me there
Every end has a beginning
Wait until you see it
It has not ended, yet started
See the daybreak
When the first light touch the land
I'm there, in it
The wind now, rustle your hair and tickle your face
I'm there, in it
The first rain that end the drought and kiss your face
I'm there, in it..........
After I'm gone.......
Yet I'm gone for too long
I'm still there
Never leaving your side
Even the promises we made are meant to keep
Though those can easily break
I'll compromise
I'll be there.........

In despair
If you miss me on one of those long hollow nights
Keep in your mind that everything is empty for me as for you
And never forget
You're liberal and unbound for options in-front of you
I want you to choose wisely
Keep in your mind to hope for a better tomorrow
Where you might see me
If you allow yourself
Take the moment and make the best of it
Face the ambiguity with a healthy dose of adrenaline
As I say all the time
There will be always a tomorrow
Waiting for you
New journey
With vagueness and new promises
Embrace it and climb as much as possible
Wisely..... Always wisely....
Do not let it decide but you
Where you want to be at the end of the day.....
There will be ups an downs
Success, Mistakes, accidents,  and disasters
Do not let yourself down.....
Because I'm right beside you
Encouraging you, strengthening you
May be in a far corner of your mind
Pushed back and hidden
After "too long"
But I'm still beside you
Even if you do not intend to have me
We're under the same sky
Albeit in different dimensions
Life is a balance of holding on and letting go
I will leave you with li'l bit of wisdom and enough warmth to last until you find me in you,
Until you find me in genesis
Do not search for me in the dusk
But in the crack of dawn
As twilight is not ours.... Wait for the dawn
I've never taken away the light from you, but engender
Twilight is not ours but dawn
Wait for me at the first light.....
As you think one day in one of those illusory, surreal numerous infinities
You'll see me in the break of dawn
You'll see your rainbow,
With li'l bit of patience, love, luck, charm, toil, gloom and rain
Will lead you to your own pot of gold
And even then I'll be beside you
As I always do
Remember twilight is not ours but dawn.....

Chithra in the street

1.   Game
She backed off panting heavily after she ran for several miles under the baking sun. She cannot run. No more. She had enough with running and her tongue is about to sink and felt numb. She hit her back on the rough wall behind her. While her eyes still focused on the street in-front of her, she inspected the wall carefully with her mild tan skinned hands to find a way out, an exit or at least a hole to hide.

“Not now…. Please……. Not today…..” she murmured to herself.

It wasn't really easy to run in that street, where Chithra lived. Two feet street only good for walking, though the bicycles and dharme's cart runs once in a while. The other road, road which leads to her school is good. She wondered how she ended up here without running up there. She could have found a nice place to hide by this time if she continuously ran that way. It was Hema, the reason behind the taken bend was her elder sister. She was walking towards her. Facing her will be a big problem than facing the boys who, at the very moment reaching her.

"Chithra........." Somebody called her name out loud. Boys were there now. infront of her.

"Chithraaa....." Again somebody screamed her name. She came to the reality with that voice. So did the boys.

"Oh! NO!" Kamal, Nimal, Sunil, Kapila, Chooty Thilake, Thissa all the boys and Yamuna said together as a respond to that screaming voice.

Little Kumar who is known as chutta shut his ears with hands. Some boys were already turned to the opposite side to run.

Her Mother Karunawathi has asked her to stay in while she 's out in the field. Hema was the in charge of her and the household. But Hema has asked her to wait outside the house until she comes from the library. She felt relieved. It is she who gave her permission to play. True that she didn't ask her to play but still... she said go out and wait.

To be continued.....
